Apps dalam smartphone itu penting!

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh..

Selamat siang teman2 sekalian alam..

Kali ni aku nak kongsikan ke-excited-an aku tentang apps (application) yang ada dalam smartphone nowadays.

Selasa lepas, Apple ada buat acara tahunan mereka, iaitu WWDC2012 (WorldWide Developer Conference). Paling aku suka bila geng2 Apple nih buat presentation. Cool beb!

Diawal presentation diorang, ada diselitkan satu video berkaitan dengan apps and how they change the way we live. Korang boleh search kat youtube, "WWDC 2012".

Sememangnya, apps bukan sahaja untuk main games, tapi turut memberi kemudahan bagi mereka yang kekurangan. Betapa mereka berterima kasih kepada developer2 apps terebut. :')

So kat sini aku nak highlight beberapa point (screen shot) yang aku rasa sangat2 menyentuh perasaan aku sebagai seorang engineering student. Serius, time tengok video tu, air mata aku pun mengalir..(siapa cakap Hero x nangis?)

case 1: seorang yang cacat penglihatan beserta deeveloper apps tersebut.

the problem is that I couldn't find my way"

"When I discovered Ariadne GPS app, I could walk independently for hours and hours. 

I think the road's adventure. That's the best description. A real flying adventure."

"I want to develop an app to help blind peoples explore the world. With my app, they

can having information about their position, they could bookmark different

points and can tell when they approaching that point."

"It's great, people bright me around the world, saying, your app change my life"

case 2: Cikgu kepada kanak2 sekolah di India beserta developer app tersebut

"The kids have so much trusting me, and I have given them a commitment. If I don't

delivered excellence, and push for the transformation, what am I doing here?"

"Teaching anatomy to kids what actually many grades level behind and don't know english

was quite a big challenge for me initially, before I discovered the apps for 3D4medical app.

But then after this app, it's made fun to learn about our own body and skeleton."

"Bringing this technology to the classroom, the marks actually jump to 94%, and that's

something that shows me the power of technology and the power of really-really awesome app."

"What's amazing for us is, our apps had been use to teach advance level of anatomy

in major universities around the world, and the same apps are also being

used in elementary school, in a classroom, in India."

Korang boleh bayangkan tak betapa bergunanya device + apps yang ada sekarang. Cuma dari kita je nak guna macam mana.

Aku harap suatu hari nanti, aku juga mampu menghasilkan 1 app yang dapat membantu masyarakat diluar sana, inshaAllah..

Aku memang respect kat team developer di luar sana.
